　　Step1：了解背景信息

　　学生要根据雅思写作题干信息扩大范围进行适当联想，然后再根据核心话题来扣住题目回答问题。

　　比如真题(2013.11.09)：

　　The environment problems facing today's world are so great that there is little ordinary people can do to improve the situation. Government and large companies should be responsible for reducing the amount of damage being done to the environment. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

　　根据上题题干中给出的background information背景信息扩大范围进行适当联想：环境问题非常严重，个别普通人已经无力改善。当下环境问题有变暖、酸雨、能源短缺、土地荒漠化、物种加速灭绝、垃圾成灾、有毒化学品污染等众多方面。然后再根据核心话题，围绕“和大公司应该负责减少环境污染”这个话题来写整篇文章。和大公司财力充足可以改善问题;和大公司有责任弥补为提高GDP而造成的环境污染;但是个人也可以从小事做起积少成多。
